Cpt Viper 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Hello gentlemen, I have some questions, regarding an addon. I do have to inform you that I am not the one working on the addon, but a friend of me, he is not very proficient in the use of the English language, so I am making the post. Right, excuse me for the long intro, but here is the problem. The addon my friend is making is a buggy, but is having problems with (he thinks) LOD. When he is in the buggy, he can drive through everything, buildings, etc etc. He can't drive or walk through the buggy in another vehicle or when he is on foot. On request I will send or PM the addon if you want to take a better look at it. Thank you very much. Yours sincerely, Viper and Robby

Cpt Viper 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Thank you for answering. The thing is, he has a Geometry LOD. Only it doesn't quite work. I hope any of you can give a solution. To XSparky: I shall send you the .pbo file. - Viper and Robby
[aps]gnat 28 Posted April 20, 2006 Has he "Find Component...." in one of the menus for the Geo LOD? This will auto produce named sections called "component1", "component2" etc etc. Normally an addon doesnt work properly until this is done.

Cpt Viper 0 Posted April 23, 2006 I am sorry for the slow response, but I have been quite busy lately. My friend is looking in these solutions as I speak now. Thank you all for answering. If neither of these problems solve the problem, you'll hear from me again. Thanks, again. Viper & Robby
