Klick on "THE FAQ" in the post above, it`s a link. On that side search for 3d device. That`s all.

A quick search on Google for something like OFP D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE brings up plenty of people with similar problems and solutions, but the quickest way is to do what AvonLady suggests above.

Edit - for a 13 year-old, your spelling is appalling

Well, you know what kids are like these days with their text speak.

I am Dyslexic and i make a point of using full sentences and proper punctuation for text messeges and the like.

Anyhow, my point is I have had a similar problem. However, my computer is rubbish and the best way to solve crashes is to clean up your hard drive. Give it a good old 'Defrag' and 'scan disk', that usually fixes most problems for three months or so. It is a little like changing the oil in your car.

By the way I had a very odd crashing OFP experience which only happened every other time I turned my computer on. Malden island crashes with a messege saying "cannot find Abel.pbo" or something. Anyone know why?

Regards

Kendo, If your OFP has had problems then chances are I have had them first!

Quote[/b] ]with a messege saying "cannot find Abel.pbo" or something. Anyone know why?

Sounds like your mission Abel.pbo go into your ofp/dta folder look for Abel.pbo if you cant find it then thats your problem ofp has no where to find all the textures and other files needed for the island so it crashes.

Either copy your files from the CD and patch them or re-install.

Please search before posting, please do not bump your own threads or make duplicate threads.

Also please use proper English, for many on these forums English is not their first language, deliberately using improper English is an insult to them.
