ACU soldiers

Recommended Posts

they're really nothing special.

my unit patch is a solid black keystone, about the size of a playing card, slightly smaller. just velcro on the bottom smile_o.gif there's no background to it - just a black keystone.

there are a good bit of units that use solid black patches. but most (1st, 3rd, 4th, 10th MD, etc..) use subdued ones.

Yeah, atm, I'm using ones I've made myself from the Blue Spaders, but hey - could you scan your ones in? Check out EricJ's picture - could you make them as big as that, if possible? It just a hell of a lot easier than drawing them yourself, if you know what I mean.

Tell you what buddy, do you have the ACU pocket with the flag and with the 1ID patch on them? Could you do the same with them? I'd be eternally grateful!

That's the standard BDU subdued patch, but placement and size is the same. The other patch is my current unit patch, but placed in the same spot.

Hahaha - thanks man, 5 minutes after I posted this, I sifted through the FFUR thread and found them. Many thanks again, mate.

Wish I was in your shoes - I'd love to join the US Army for a while (nothing against the Green Machine back here, though).

I'll probably chuck another picture up of my work in the CPT in a day or so. biggrin_o.gif

I've been in since I was a junior in high school... I did what's called "split-option".. I went to Basic Training between my junior/senior year during the summer,, and once I graduated high school, I want to AIT (job training). I'm an E4 Specialist in a mech. inf unit right now,, so, being a part-time reservist gives you lots of inspiration for OFP, plus the time to create it smile_o.gif

in between work, college, a time consuming girlfriend, and football though. huh.gif

I can't wait to see these ACU's, I've been dying to get my hands on a good set. The one's in FFUR come close to the real deal, but it's inaccurate by many standards.
