MODUL SKY beta version

Recommended Posts

I can only agree with the previous posters and say that for a beta, this sky shows great promise.

I was going to provide ssome screen shots of a couple of areas I wanted to mention but OFP kept crashing. Only thought at the end of the night to check the flashpoint.rpt and discovered that -nomap at been disabled for some reason, doh!

Anyway, apart from some of the textures being a bit grainy, and some skys having very mirrored textures (see Zorbtek's 3rd and 4th pic), the effects used are very effective.

My only personal issue is that this sky pack is a little too dramatic at the moment, but that won't stop me downloading further versions.

Keep up the good work!

I´m a new member so please keep this in mind when reading my question wink_o.gif I downloaded Modul sky beta and ran the install.bat. I started to play OFP and nothing... No great thick clouds like the pics. I wonder if someone could enlighten this ignorant poor soul what the problem might be biggrin_o.gif

how did you do it?

Extract all the files in the .zip into your ofp folder you should now have a new folder inside it now run the installer and make sure you play with the file path

Right click on the flashppoint icon click properties. Now in the target box add

-nomap -nosplash -mod=@modulsky

Now click apply and okay now play ofp should all be working now

Work above the new version approaches to end, but for its release I need to learn from you how "planimetric" textures i.e. when any part of a texture is not visible are made (is as though transparent) ?  confused_o.gif
