Sounds cool. I might have cocked up, but I get a "Config not an array" error at the GUI, and the mission takes me back to the GUI without error. I'll look into it though, I'm known for making daft mistakes.

Anyway, back on topic. yeah good idea that these animations could be used in cutscenes and intro sequences to show the 'brighter' side of OFP's gritty mass explodey warfare simulation we've all come to know and love.

Wounded, lying down, back to ground, clutching stomach/leg/arm.

How about -

Instead of wounded running around fighting and being effective until killed, they can lie on the ground shouting and screaming in pain. Sick but also quite neccessary.

Then some cool shit like -

I dream of a OFP not full of shiny high polygon models, but of a highly enhanced gameplay, with many more aspects to battle than simply pulling the trigger.

How about animations which are called upon when using a radio weapon. How about a system for AI movement, with designated platoon leaders/company leaders who control sectors.

So much cool shit went into CTI, unfortunately in an unrealistic way. I am trying to make a more immersive gameplay altogether.

this one already exists as static anim in one of the custom anim packs (Wilco, ICP, or one of the fear anims in Hunter anim pack, dunno for sure)

but I agree those would be more useful as dynamic anims with transitions

you should make funky dancing moves, like a windmill or something, I would find it holarious to see an OFP person doing a windmill, and if you made enough moves, you could make like a random dancing script that could be used on people in a discotech or something. I don't know if all the animations would lag the hell out of your computer, but then you could make a sucide bomber mission or something where you have to play a police dude or something and you have to figure out who the sucide bomber is before he gets to the discotech... I duno, just a thought.

Oh wait, I have an idea, a standing position for RPG type weapons, I hate it when you go to use the RPG and then you kneel down behind something so you can no longer shoot the target without blowing yourself up.

Here is a link to the different positions, there is already one for the kneeling one, but there are three other positions on that page that aren't in OFP, the prone and standing would be nice
