missing Cd key

okay i bought the gold edition ages ago and then bought the GOTY edition so ican have resistance i got the CD key for that but not for gold edition i have seemed to oof lost it what should i do

its not on the back of the case ive checked the back of the cold war crisis box, in it, on the controls pop up thng you get and the strtegy guide

not there so i checked the Red hammer box, in it and the manual wich comes in the Red hammer box nothing where the hell could it be

have i lost a manual ? i aint downloaded it and asking for the CD key so i can install it i can prove that by writing down all the little letter on the CD's but there very long so i aint going to until i need to

what can i do, could someone please provide me with a CD key for Gold edition of OFP or can someone please point me in the right direction

write a mail to your publisher, and they should send you a new copy. But you must send yours to them.

by publisher you mean shop right ?

if so thats going to be a bit hard i bouht it of a mate after he found out that he got so much lag on his comp so he sold it to me for the same proce he bought it

I have GOTY and it has CWC, RH, RES in it and it only needs One CD-Key for the hole lot..

ive got the CD key for GOTY but not for the Gold Edition since i bnought the Gold edition then bought GOTY for resistance and then ive lost the Gold editions CD key but ive still got the GOTY one

The gold edition is in goty anyways so you dont need the gold edition.. just install goty and everything should be the same

its the fact that i dont have the CD key for the Gold edition its not a problem i play with GOTY all the time i would just like to have the CD key for Gold edition in the future as i may need it

At the moment you can buy in Germany a complet set of OFP for 10 Euro. I think in the shop they wouldn´t give you another key (they are not allowed to do), so you had to send the original CD to the "producer" and ask for a new one. If you count here all the costs, it might be far cheaper to buy new one for 10 Euro in a shop.

i mean publisher like codemasters (one who published ofp in your region). If you got original game, just mail them and tell what happened, they would reply that you should send the game to them, and they will send you a new copy.

Exactly what i thought when reading your question 456820.

Though you could try to e-mail Codemasters and ask for

a way to solve your problem without extra costs.

If there's no way so you can't expect someone else taking the costs for you because it's your fault that you lost the

CD-Key.

Just to let you know: the CD-Key has to be found on the

backside of the manual.

It's a trick question. IIRC there is no CD key for the Gold Edition - you just use the original CWC one. I could be wrong but try it.

Discussion about CD keys always leads to problems. If you need a CD key, the only thing to do is contact Codemasters, or buy a new copy.
