Jmaster33 0 Posted July 25, 2005 I want to use the FFUR pack with the new ECP, thing is I don't want all the FFUR effects as well all I'm interested in is the unit replacement. How would I go about making it so I don't have all the extra stuff, just the standard replacement of units?
mattxr 9 Posted July 25, 2005 erm dont think that can be done, but if you just use the units u downloaded and add in the ecp event handles.. bah its hard to type with one hand in a sling.
Jmaster33 0 Posted July 25, 2005 I would just use EECP but it uses modern units and I want to stick to the realism of using 1985 units because I want to play through the campaigns again.
Thunderbird 0 Posted July 25, 2005 If ECP'd allow me , I'll be honoured to carry out a 1985 ECP 1.085 Units Replacement pack while Kurayami'll do the modern Era
Taconic 0 Posted July 25, 2005 If ECP'd allow me , I'll be honoured to carry out a 1985 ECP 1.085 Units Replacement pack while Kurayami'll do the modern Era I actually have a 1985 version of EECP in the works already. It will basically function as a plugin (as it's currently set up, it would only require one more pbo and a different config.) It's just on the back burner at the moment. Once I finish up the current version, I plan to finish up EECP '85.
Jmaster33 0 Posted July 25, 2005 Nice one, without sounding like a whiny bastard, what timeframe you reckon? Days, weeks, months? Just a vauge estimate. Just so I know whether to bother waiting or just start anyway.

Just so I know whether to bother waiting or just start anyway. I don't want to give a solid date because there's a very good possibility that I'll miss what I currently have in mind. My current timetable: -Finish up new EECP (I hope to wrap it up by the end of the week at the latest) -Create EECP installer -Get EECP into heavy testing (2 - 3 weeks) -Release I'll probably start working on the 1985 version again while the release version is in testing. Since it will basically be a model swap with a few minor changes, it should not require extensive testing beyond what the release version gets (although it certainly will get some.) So the short version is that I'm hoping to release an alternate 1985 version very shortly after I release the main version. Whether or not it will happen this way remains to be seen at this point. Jmaster33 0 Posted July 25, 2005 Alright that sounds great to me, I'm sure I can live with the standard stuff until then.
Placebo 12 Posted July 25, 2005 ECP has its own thread, FFUR has its own thread, use one of those instead of a new thread.
