notworthy.gif  brilliant, this was one nice surprise, very nice work, thank you UKF. I have noticed a few people having some lag issues using these, they seem to work fine for me....but i do seem to get a bit of lag just for a few seconds when i'm using the gunner position of the HMG versions when using internal or optic view, not a major problem for me because the lag only lasts for a few seconds.

lag is confuding us at the moment... there's nothing in the gunnerview that should cause it... but we're checking

These Land Rovers are bloody awesome! Really great! Textures are brilliant, models are brilliant, animations and positions are brilliant (especially the driver turning and gunner getting killed), guns are brilliant, and the sights are brilliant! The gunners don't seem to attack choppers, though it might be the chopper I used. Maybe it needs a bit more testing with other choppers by me. pistols.gif

Also, the jeeps' death explosion/model may also be brilliant, though I havn't had the heart to kill one yet. whistle.gif

Ooh, can't wait for BB's units now! yay.gif

Bloody good job PUKF!  notworthy.gif

Just to add something... basically this is Pack one because we have 2 or 3 other varients we'd like to add but didnt make it in time for this release, mainly because Mcar still has me stumped (anyone from Mcar team want to help me... again?)

so there'll be a second pack with some other weapons varients and plus any suggestions of what you'd like to see smile_o.gif

A camo-net version (similar to Frandsens danish recon G-wagon)?

the wmiks already have camo netting via one of the scripts... if you mean the ability to hide the whole vehicle with a camo net, then thats already been taken into consideration smile_o.gif

Being able to make an LUP on the spot would be fantastic, and certainly make one my missions a heck of a lot easier. Can't test these bad boys until the weekend, but i'm really looking forward to it.

And to those who are experiencing LAG problems. Do you run the DXDLL (or any third party feature)? If so, shut it off obviously and see if it changes.

How about a towing feature, for ammo. I remember seeing a small towing addon a while back. Might be a good idea to put ammo/fuel into the back?

And one thing that was missing in the old Landies was some 'destroyed' versions in the 'empty' section. Something like that would be nice.#

An recon version would be good, with bergens on the bonet and sides etc and alot more jerry cans. And lots of weapons to take off the vehicle.

... Not sure if this is possible on land vehicles in OFP, but on Col_Klinks Flk Lynx There was progressive damage. That would be cool on vehicles  smile_o.gif

nice BB - the exact reasoning behind our intended co-release in one pic... hehe, cant wait smile_o.gif

Jack... we have a recon landy planned, don't worry smile_o.gif - There was a destroyed model with the WMIK pack but it was removed... in the end it was hard to decide how it should look and what circumstances could have occured (crashed, shot to pieces etc) - with so many different scenarios to consider, i removed it.

sorry.

Excellent addon guys notworthy.gif it really is awesome just really need yours or BB's desert units. One suggestion is that a few more customisations (i might be being cheeky) but things such as Orange tarpe used as a visual IFF or a few more options of loading kit on to the side of the landy such as rolled up camo or backpacks. The flag looks a little crappy tbh (i guess tahts not your guys fault) it just seems out of place and a little too rigid, is there no way of attaching the flag used on flag poles on to the unit?

Anyway awesome addons guys.

Any plans to make UN variations of all (or some tounge2.gif) of your units?

That would be ace   thumbs-up.gif

R.e: flag - engine limitations, only so much one can do... as for adding a flag, thats simple - place a flag with a flag applied in the editor... and write this:

this setflagowner (driver vehiclename)

that should do it...

as for UN stuff - no such thing as a UN wmik (or that i've ever seen)... they're hardly a peace keeping vehicle tounge2.gif

Not being a military buff and all that but I was wondering if the WMIK could be made as a four seater, there is a seat next to the gunner, and at the moment, being only 3 seats, its not as useful as it could be on a fireteam level of 4. One has to walk.

So my question really is, does it have to have 3 seats or can 4 people versions be made in an updated pack?

Excellent, downside would be that if he exited the vehicle it would be attached to him right? Anyway i understand the limitations just probing.

Anyway i love the landies and my Joint afghan patrols can be a litle more multinational.
