Fuerzas Armadas Mod

I would like to share with you, that we are working in a new Mod called "Fuerzas Armadas", this mod is about the Spanish Army Forces.

We are not addon makers, so you wouldn't see any new unit in this release, only retextured ones of those that our army has.

The release will be the next week (1st of july probably).

Hi, i wanna see the osborne bull over that LOATING flag, i wanna see the land "army" camo pattern that's very different to the spanish Marine Infantry (la 1Åž y LA MEJOR) camo pattern; i wanna check out those rusty CETME C & the loating & ugly CETME L/LC/LV & CV. It was time that there were a real 3Th world army in the OFP (not only those tonal civilians).

Wipman, why are you being rude calling their stuff ugly and a 3rd world Army.  Please don't use the excuse that your English is bad.  If you're just going to insult people's work or their country please stay out of this thread.

To the Fuerzas Armadas Mod:  Excellent Work!!!  It all looks like very good retexturing work and will be great to have in OFP!  

Edit- I have always enjoyed my visits to Spain by the way. I hope I can one of these days to visit Spain again. I have wonderful memories of Madrid, Toledo, Heres (wonderful red wine made there), Granada, and the beautiful beaches and excellent food and people all over Spain.

Finally I let the mod die, since i didn´t found support enough to make the addons.

Also a long time away i started to model a URO Vamtac Pack (called VAMTAC and not Rebeco which is the civilian version of the VAMTAC) (the spanish humvees) but it suffered the same destination as the Infanteria de Marina MOD due to same reasons.

Not all addons are retextured, some of them has only spanish stuff added like International Soldier Model by Kmarns, only has some sections more in the model, like the ranks, corps patches, modified beret  etc... Of course we have ask permision for all the addons, AND CREDITS ARE GIVEN TO ALL THE ADDON MAKERS in the readme that is attached to the installer. If someone things we forgot to ask him.. our apologies.

Wipman... I will make your osborne bull with my own hands this week (it's hard to use o2 ? jk)

ah .. and as far as I know, spanish army is also using G36 at least proffesional army

We will continue working in this addons improving them and making them more close to the spanish army as our skills growing. This should be consider as a beta. We are pretty noob in this world and there is not many tutorials in spanish.

Hi, dear flaber... the G36AE it's very extended in our "dear" "armed forces"; but i guess that u know... that he haven't sold out (yet) all our CETMEs C, CV, L, LC, LV & LCV.

"I'm glad" of know that you gonna make those... GOEs, but what about the UOE?, they (like the rest of the Marine Infantry) don't use the same BDUs than the army, the parakas or the lejías (& i don't gonna speak about the popeyes). But anyway... there's a good number of CETMEs CV & LC & LCV in the Marine Infantry, not like the old Star-Z84 that's mostly owned by the Buzeadores de la Armada (aka popeyes aka the spanish seals); the durability of the CETME C & it's accuracy still making it a good weapon for the squad marksman & there were a good number of sub-officers & some officers that preffered it to the 5.56 by many reasons.

& yes... the O2 it's hard; but my field are the textures & be laid; so... dale kańia. Let's cu

About CETME, I did prefered the "L" then the "C", but only because the L was a new thing, more acurate in the shooting range, and much more lighter, but I have no complains of the wood and iron modelo "C", and the bigger calibre would make you feel more confident. I have seen the modelo "C" with scope and NV, so there was a serious Marksman weapon when I was there.

BTW, ton't laugh of the picture, it was 16 years ago

About the names of the units, will be written in spanish

something like

Ejercito Espańol - Ejercito del Aire (o FAMET)........... Bell 412 or AB212

Ejercito Espańol - GOE ....... Cabo primero

About the pegasus the army uses URO Trucks now

but still having the old pegasus units

About the CETME ... I not going to say the oposite, I'm not a military advisor nor especialist, but yes .. the "Marines de la armada" use them ..

Yes the Uro, it was there in 1990, not in many numbers, but AFAIK the URO is a 2 toner, and the pegaso a 4 toner. In them times the Pegaso was the main transport vehicle.

If you look in Soldados.com, you'll find it there too, so it still in use nowdays, and I'm not surprised, because its a hell of a truck. I had a lot of contact with them them days specially with the jet washer, lol

If you end up doing any BRCZAM(Brigada de Cazadores de Alta Montańa) related addons, a mule would go very well. Yes a mule, as the animal, you won't be able to drive a vehicle at 2000 metres in the mountines lol. But I very much doubt that you'll try to get that complicated.

About the CETME, I'm not really surprised that still in use, what I'm surprised is that is in use by the military, I though that "Guardia Civil" would be the only ones using it. Nice to know that some Spanish hardware like the CETME still in good use

Notice that I'm not trying to prove any body wrong, or anything like that, I'm just surprised on how much things have changed in the Spanish military sense I was there.

I have talk with a friend from the "buzos de la Armada" in Cartagena he said me that the CETME is still in use for instruction purpose, for light training missions(the green plastic one), and when you are at doors (de puertas) don't know translation to english.... "Guard door" maybe ?

for international missions don't use the CETME and in missions with real fire

The "plastic" one, that would be Modelo "L".

"De guardia" quieres decir, that would be "on stag" I belive. Funny, I should know that one for sure

Both... the cetme and the g36.

One more thing... due to some bugs found in the betatesting proccess in multiplayer missions.. .we have to delay the release a few days (7-10).

To be honest with you, this mod is been a surprise from the beguining, and sens you posted about it the first time till now, it haven't been a long time at all, so a little delay will meen nothing really, I been wayting longuer than that to see Spanish addons, and now, out of the blue, we have a mod.

Don't worry about the delay, just take your time, test, test, test, and once you lot are happy, release. Don't be in a hurry.
