Is the MP nice in OFP?

Im been thinkin about it lately, is it nice or not,shit or fuk...

AND thinkin in these situations:u and ur 5 man squad r waitin in ur base. Ur officer arrives, with a transport chopper with it(i forgot the name of it),and in the middle of bugs and flies u only hear "parachute and try to survive,guys and gals".

Like this or not?

PS. ive tried to play OFP in the net before, but my bad conection kills my hopes, whats the size of the patch needed?

OFP is quite nice for MP games if you have a fast, stable network connection, bypass GameSpy to find servers, and play with people who know what they are doing.

I usually play with a group of friends using a private non-dedicated server. We play for several hours, and very rarely have crashes or connection problems.

Few conections problems?

Nicey,perhaps to me.

But mainly, how r the matches?

maybe if the server setup wasnt so fucked up then maybe a decent gsp or 2 would host MP games

You need to edit the DESCRIPTION.EXT file for the mission in order to do that. In order to do that, you need the source files for the mission, or you need to decompile the .PBO file, and possibly decrypt MISSION.SQM.

If you have a DESCRIPTION.EXT file, add the following two lines:

respawn="base"

respawndelay=5

This would cause the dead players to respawn back at the base after five seconds. The are other types of respawn, and other issues that are involved -- the best place to discuss them would be the Mission Editing forum.
