stu 0 Posted June 17, 2005 I reduced the polys cos there was bits on the model that you couldnt really see so there was no need for them but i got the polys down to 4229 which will do  10`000 Polys!   i wouldnt know what to do with them   Finished modeling the MadCat just need to start on the textures.  I'm working on some scripts for the Bushwacker, i managed to get a ejection seat script working on it but still needs some work  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I used to do that with MW2, and would just pound them from a paltry 1 kay (long range? yeah right..), though I would usually roll with the Timberwolf (my fav mech). As for the missile defensive system.. we tried to work something out with the USCM dropship. The problem is that in order for it to "work" it has to be scripted to put a geometry in order for it to be intercepted. The thing is that the dropship has two defensive laser bays in order to shoot them down. Unfortunately, the engine I guess is not good enough for a weapon system to accurately track, and shoot it down. The most you can do is make a machine gun dedicated to it for looks, but the problem is figuring out the geometries for the actual intercept. Then again I routinely have SAMs shot at me and they tend to miss alot. The DKM Tunguska? well that's a different story... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
