Quote[/b] ]number of Iraqis who dont want us there and there

Polls and news say otherwise and to present day they are one of the most reliable sources at hand Iraq regarded.

Polls say two thirds of Iraqis support attacks on US soldiers that killed your fallen.

The Iraqi defence minister has admited that insurgents surpass US coallition soldiers numbering in the hundreads of thousands.

Quote[/b] ] there were WMDs

No,there weren't.Please educate yourself, you should know atleast that much and it will help you in the future have a better grasp of knowledge and avoid embarassing yourself.

Quote[/b] ]flambating, degrading the memory of the fallen

No,I am debating a subject as I consider it is for this reason this section of the forum was created. You instead are returning poorly robotic answers that value nothing.

It is fear of truth and knowledge that creates ignorance and you seem to be suffering from it.I am here to learn, you should be also and not take for granted and create a worshiping cult from everything TBA spouts.

This is far from the only war going on in this world. For an example 3 million people have died because of the Congo coflict during the last years. The Western cellular phone industries demand for cheap Coltan is one of the reasons of this war and it keeps funding the conflict.

USA shouldn't be in Iraq to start with so I won't pay any thoughts to the soldiers who has died there. I see them as what they are which is the tool of a cruel regime and they make the war possible, therefor I do not support the troops.

LP4Life, Everybody has an opinion about death, you have read mine, yours might be diffrent, so feel free to share.

"If 5000 people had died during WW2 nobody would remember it"

sad but true, and in my opinion it's not degrading, "what if" questions make us think about the subject, and fact is that there were millions of people who lost their lifes. It happened, and we must continue to talk about it, and remember the lessons.

To my knowledge everybody here understands the simple fact that people have diffrent opinions, Exept you.

There are people over the world who are willing to give their life for me. I thank them, and I would do thesame. Like I said: when you die, you are nothing more then a memory, wouln't it be good to be remembered by somebody who owes you his life?

I understand but I made this thread for the sole purpose of not debating but to remember those who have died in a war that some support and some do not, but not to debate the war. all I ask is that if you wish to debate the war debate in a another thread please.

Quote[/b] ]To my knowledge everybody here understands the simple fact that people have diffrent opinions, Exept you.

Then this thread is useless as I suspected and should be closed.

Quote[/b] ]. Also during the Iran-Iraq war WMDs were used so yes he had them

Good point this time, but unfortunatly history events&time are now the ones iching to contradict you.Because unfortunatly you are refering to events that occoured 25 years ago when US was actively supporting Saddam both military and economicly.

Since then there was another war called "The Gulf War" which ended with the imposing of strict sanctions by the UN and starting a disarmament process which at this day was prooven to be succesful.

Moreover, the subsequent invasion in 2003 was not fought because Saddam had WMD a quarter of a century ago but because he had then and was prepared to use them at any moment and give it to the evil terrorists which was a false assesment hence the false war and the mislead dead soldiers.

I respect thee troops of all countries. They must be brave to join up in the Armed Forces of their country.

I thank all the members of the Armed Forces of the countries that participated in the war against terror, for trying to bring peace to the world. They were called upon by their nation and served professionally.

You will never be forgotten

"And when he gets to heaven

To Saint Peter he will tell;

One more soldier reporting

I've served my time in hell"

One another note, some of your are very ignorrant, and if you don't want to pay respects then don't post at all.

This is a discussion forum. If you want to make a list where supporters sign up then you're free to do a webpage for it or something. As far as I know forums are supposed to be a place where opinions are exchanged and debated.

I pay respect to anybody who died defending his country. But why Americans have to defend their country in Iraq is beyond my understanding.

In my point of view I see your first post as bating. I think it's horrible how you want to pay tribute to people that's been part of this unjustified act of agression that has lead to the death of tens of thousand civilians and still counting.

I know alot of the people here have the same oppion about the single soldiers and what their responsibility is as you but I have mine. As this war was and is being opposed by the majority of the people in this world and USA was the one who attacked I see no reason to honour them just as I don't honour the german soldiers who fell in the invasion of Poland.

I'm not debating Iraq War. I'm debating about the phenomenon that people pay respect to professional soldiers fighting in wars far away from home with the justification that they died "defending their country". This is the topic of this thread as I see it.

Please I understand you views but this thread is not the place for debate because it will just turn into a flame war.

What you fail to understand is that this is an international forum where people from al different contries and continents come to debate and share their views: Americans,Europeans,Africans and Arabs.

If a similar thread was to be opened by an Iraqi

"comemorating his fallen heroes that fought to defend his land from an invasion started by imperialists under false pretenses" asking you not to "debate because it would disegrade the memory of the fallen ones" and "support the insurgency",it would have been closed at moment's notice this should be treated no diferently.

Quote[/b] ]Off-topic forum is here so that you can discuss things that are somewhat related to the game, but not about the game itself. The forum subtitle reads:

"about wars, military conflicts and everything what pertinent to Army"

If you want to talk about something else or about nothing at all, there is plenty of spaces on the web where you can do it (like public chat rooms, some newsgroup or IRC).
