Still, seeing our beloved Chris at work here doesn't makes me happy at all. In every was there are mistakes. I have seen Americans blowing people to bits, I have seen americans getting blown to bits, I have seen americans sunbathing on their M109's, boring themselves to death. War is so complex that you cannot judge about it untill you have seen it.

It's like you in 1940 would have asked for tributes for German troops who did a splendid job occupying Poland.

Furthermore, your attempts of controling the contents of what people post is just silly. Without debate, this is spam. The net worth of such a thread is zero. If you want to pay your tributes, pray, chant, meditate, whatever - do it on your own.

Suppose I was to post a thread asking for people to post tributes to the 9/11 hijackers. Would you accept my instructions to "stay out, unless you had tributes to post"? I doubt that very much.

Chris was talking about the fact that we are only allowed to pay tribute to the americans. If we wanted to talk about any other side we had to get out.

No I don't. I'm a firm believer in "You break it, you fix it".

But that's another debate. The point I was trying to make is that he is preaching to the wrong crowd, that he shouldn't expect unconditional agreement from everybody.

He wanted to pay tributes? Fine, he should have posted this in the Iraq thread. If he could not stand people voicing different opinions, then he shouldn't have posted it at all or posted it in a forum with more favourable demographics. It's as simple as that.
