I just finished a whole series of panoramic

screen shots from that other game (Ghost Recon)

and thought it was only fair to give Operation Flashpoint

the same treatment.   This panoramic was shot in the

first single player mission.  There was someone shooting

at me periodically as I was doing this.  Art is hell.

I admit this was not the best location for a screen shot. I spent maybe 15 seconds picking the spot as I was in a hurry. What makes this picture special is the fact that it is just under five feet long.

Hmm well as scenic views go in Opf I think that's a rather fine one, shows the landscape well, mountain in the background, woods, small rustic town with church, looks like there's a nasty storm coming though smile.gif

How/with what proggy did you do that?

I use a stitching program (there are a bunch of them) and Photoshop. I do this with real photos too, and like I said I just finished fifteen of them for a Ghost Recon site so I have a lot of practice. It’s easier with real photos because you have total control. It is real difficult to do this with video games; I have to do a lot of hand work to get them decent. I have done a few in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 that turned out pretty good. I may do more in Op Flashpoint. I will have to scout out good locations and play with the technique a bit.

U should try doing it near the stonehenge<span id='postcolor'>

I honestly don’t know the game that well. Where is the stonehenge? If you could tell me which map, and if it is marked on the map. Grid coordinates would help, or the nearest town.
