[aps]gnat 28 Posted February 27, 2005 I've noticed something weird with the takeoff runs on my B-52. This is a AI piloted plane placed on a runway with a goto Waypoint elsewhere. If I go gunner in the bomber the AI pilot does a roll right or roll left (depending where the plane is relative to the runway centreline) BEFORE he gets off the ground. With a wingspan of the B-52, that usually results in a crash. BUT ..... weird bit ..... but if I jump out of the gunner seat and let the AI takeoff OR the AI is gunner too, the plane takes off perfect, doesnt execute a  roll until well off the ground Anyone seen this before ? Trenchfeet 0 Posted March 6, 2005 my only suggestion is to check your "weight" maybe your too fat and the planes tipping to much? j/k i have to opposite of this sometime with my planes when they land?? perhaps try making the land contact points wider so that its a bit more stable? dont know if it will help
