Addon pimping is defintely a no-no, unless of course you're planning on distributing the addon for free and just want to toss money away for nothing.

No, I think its illegal to publicly sell addons, but paying for addon making is not illegal as long as payer is not going to try to sell it but i.e. if he uses it by himself or release it for free to public I think its legal.

If anybody pays an addonmaker to make an addon for him then that is not illegal. You pay someone for a service. But you do not "buy" the addon with it and you do not have any rights to sell it.

but if an modeler make an object in 3ds WITHOUT O2 the modeler have all right on him he can sell it

and he can have a copyright his object in 3ds

of course the user who buy the 3ds file (if autor of the 3ds allow this) can make an addon after for OFP for free or for other game

It should be legal, aslong someone came to you, and want to pay you for your work.

It will be illegal, when you try to sell your work for OFP.
