Mlod 1.75+ BIS models

I want to try addon editing, but I don't want to make something from scratch. I noticed during the early days of OFP editing people used BIS models and modified them.

Is it ok to do that? Is there anywhere I can find some in Mlod format that I can use to tinker around with so I can get more accustomed to progressively making greater alterations?

I know there are demo models but I never figured out how to add a pistol proxy and that would pose a problem.

Have them. Only no soldier model I don't think.

I don't believe there were any soldier models, but it does include the high res civillian models which I think are a fantastic base for soldiers...

You could just open an existing addon, and practice on it. But don't release anything without permission. But, yeah, the best way to learn is to tinker with existing stuff.

You should try this tutorial. Its not on making units but about everything else. Its step by step and it gives you all the stuff you need. You can even download the addon it teaches you to make to see how you did.
