seminara 4 Posted January 26, 2005 Hi all I recently installed a few new addons and I'm now getting the following error message before OFP starts up (although it does run regardless): 'Addon BIS_Resistance requires version 1.97 of application' I was under the impression that 1.96 was the final version for OFP. Am I wrong? Cheers

I'm fairly new to OFP so not sure how to 'depbo' or how to 'change the cfg'. Could you please explain the procedure or point me to a tutorial link? Also - are you saying the latest version is 1.99? If so do you have a link for the updater? Would you recommend it? Sorry for all the questions.

theavonlady 2 Posted January 26, 2005 Thanks for the feedback. Â I'm fairly new to OFP so not sure how to 'depbo' or how to 'change the cfg'. Â Could you please explain the procedure or point me to a tutorial link? Search The FAQ for "unpbo" and use the UnPBO utility to expand your PBO files. Every addon's essential definitions are in the addon's config.bin (encrypted) or config.cpp (expanded to text) file. When you expand a PBO file, you'll find one of these inside the expanded addon's folder. Quote[/b] ]Also - are you saying the latest version is 1.99? 1.99 is the version number assigned to VBS1 - not to OFP.

seminara 4 Posted January 26, 2005 What addons did you install? Quite a few in the past week - including the FlashFX Mod. The last individual PBO's were: cbt_crew.rar winternogojev11.zip (reinstall) VME_OFPOR.zip

seminara 4 Posted January 26, 2005 I have this message to... but i ignored it and continued playing. OK cool. I think I'll do the same until I run into some unpassable brick wall. It's happened before so we'll just see how it goes. Cheers
