Pacific War Mod

but of LOD Skilled people

Odd....Again,the LOD maker will have to reapply textures to parts of a new model, often you have to make a very low poly parts to replace other parts,so the modeller should be making the lods too,and a texturer may have to make different texture parts for some lods differently, its a combined effort.

But your still talking only a modeller and a texturer

Quote[/b] ]Then you also state that posting 5% models is a waste of time

No its just depressing to me,what I see its lots of work left.

Your pics are certainly welcome to me.Sorry if you understodd differently

Quote[/b] ]

I've got 2 maybe 3 texturers, testing ones capabilites at the moment, and I have 3 modelers.

Sounds great ! I know its tough

Quote[/b] ]

Now Bratty, if your offering help towards us as you offered earlier in Page 1 of the forums, then I'll need a contact IM addy from you. Or atleast an Email.

Sorry I don't use msn anymore, just end up chatting and often at inconvienant times. My email is bratty at adelphia.net.

replace at with @

And is your mod gonna complete anything? And not even sure how much I can offer, don't wanna stretch out too bad.I have life too.

Its usually easier to get recruits when you have addons near completion ,or a track record or something

I don't want to join a mod per say.

(here comes the WWIIEC pitch)

But your group as a mod team I can say that yes,WWIIEC is offering to help.WWIIEC is not a mod in general. We are a group of addonmakers to share resources.I am only one member tho and others will help you get your stuff done if your were a division of WWIIEC

Just saying their are more resouces available.I am not sure how to explain how that works.Should have a member that knows come here.Like you see in our forums. The mods we sponsor

So either yes I can help you,or the recomended way is to do it thru WWIIEC because others will help too.And if its a worthy project,I'll drop everything,combine,what-have-you.You release under your groups name

A combined effort is certainly welcomed,we are already replicating addons.

If you were asking can I do LODS,yes.Do you need help learning to do them? Or need someone to do them?

I've given up learning modelling, I learned long time ago in CAD, but my focus now is WRP...

Yes i need more LOD people.. and yes usually its a combined effort, but it never gets to us lol

EDIT: Yes, your welcome to help us as a Free Lance.

Also, yes were gonna do every aspect, aka, CTI Mod unclesam.gif

If you are still looking for japanese transport planes:

H6K2-L Mavis, Ki-54 Hickory, Ki-57-II Topsy, Ki-59 Theresa, L1N1 Thora, L3Y Tina, MC-21 Sally, L2D2 Tabby.

Those are transport planes as used in a wargame about the Pacific War ('the' wargame about the Pacific War, I should say tounge_o.gif ).

War in the Pacific

Many players over there are deep into the historic details of that time, so, a lot of useful links can be found (unfortunatly often burried deep in different topics).

An example: Naval History

Considering that there were no helicopters at that time (actually Japan build some in '45, iirc), Dive Bombers are the most important tactical air support. For the Japanese you might add the D3A Val or the D4Y Judy (from late '43).

About maps, you might have a look here: Texas University, Australia and Pacific Maps, e.g. Wake Island

Hi,

Yesterday I run to my harddisc and found some japanese ww2 airplanes that I had started on long, long ago. All these airplanes (Shoki, Hien, Hayabusa, Shinden, Betty) have only first lod and are not textured and still need a lot of work. If you want these models for your mod, please feel free to give me a hint...
