Jeep class bugs

"Been noticing an recent issue with Jeep class units including the BIS mg jeep. First off the codriver doesn't show anymore fromt he outside only the gunner, often boarding the said unit results in a ctd. A lot of jeep/car based units often the driver and codriver end up sitting on the passanger side of the vehicle.

which is rather odd. A lot of third party addons also have this problem. mostly the drives postion moved to the other side. everything works normally other than the drive now sits on the passanger side of the unit, streering wheel and all.

Been pulling my hair out for about a year trying to figure this issue, and its not all vehicles I've noticed of that class. Usually open topped units like the BIS MGjeep. I've made a fair number of addons and they don't seem to have that issue when made from scratch, Noticed that in some of the large vehicle packs like Combat's humvee pack its two unit only that have that problem, the TOW humvees and MK19 hummvees, the Fisckopp Avenger humvee also has this issue. I've opened most of the effected units up in 0@ and everything seems in order.. which even more strange trying to figure it out. "Even fresh installed the game still happens. removed all effected units stiil have the problem..

Anyone else have these issues?

Sounds like a conflict problem, bad tags or untagged.

One or two addons maybe screwing with the others.

Probably also has something to do with the possibility that the units inherit from the TANK class and not necessarily the JeepMG class. I'm pretty sure thats the case for the examples you reference (as we know, the Car class cannot carry missile launchers without heavy scripting, so the tank class is used instead). I know this is the case for several units in VBS1 such as the Jeep with Recoil-less rifle, anf the HMMWV with TOW Launcher. Many errors occur with them, e.g. the driver being 6 feet above his seat, and also being invisible at when 'Turned In'.

Check the config to confirm this.

Negative said vehicles with missiles are using MCAR scripts, and oddly the ones the MCAR guys installed directly are fully operating, opposed to the third party ones which were installe dinhouse by the mods who made the addons. I did pull all the MCAR based units out of the addons folder to see if they might be the cause and still a lot of car and jeep addons had the bug.
