Impavido 0 Posted December 19, 2004 I hate it when people underestimate the ability of others to tell the difference between right and wrong, fantasy and reality. Â It's been a long fight that hasn't gone away since the begining of video-games. I consider myself a militarist, raised in a military family, time as an ROTC student, and filling out an OCS application at this time. Â I feel I have a healthy respect for war, even though I never have and hopefully never will be directly effected by it. War is one of the great evils of humanity we will never be rid of, like poverty and ignorance. Â War must be understood, studied, and feared..but it cannot be denied as a breedingplace for heros and nations. OFP and OFP2 are intended for MATURE gamers, so I think we're smart enough to avoid the pitfalls of "glorifying" war. War shouldn't be glorified, but the poor SOB's who have to fight them should be.
