Gunner won't play dead

In chopper

everyone else who is killed while flying as cargo shows as dead sitting in their posi's.

But the gunner just sits as normal until he is ejected from vehicle then he falls to ground like a bag of sh!t.

How can I get gunner to show as dead whilst in vehicle?

Lets try a different approach.

If the gunner is killed while flying in the air. Is there a way to  switch the animation to show him as dead?

Same as cargo animation changes to show them as dead.

Coz at the mo he just sits there nodding his head and grinning.

Stop swearing biggrin_o.gif

Check that you havent got ejectDeadGunner=1;in your script or try ejectDeadGunner=0;

About all I can suggest.

Yeah I had it on that - so he gets dumped when killed. That works ok but I would rather he stayed with the aircraft slumped in the hell hole.

lol I have no idea what that actually meant either smile_o.gif

I had simailar trouble with a dude that would play dead properly. Just checked my helos and the gunners all slump over when dead hmmm. Have to have a play with that.

I am not using uh60 gunner coz he dont look right for the part

It shouldn't make any diff to which animation I am using?

I have used diff animation pilots and cargo before which all slump nicely when dead.

Shouldnt really. A dead guy should be a dead guy.

Just had a thought. the animation you are using, does that have a link to a dying or dead anim?

I am using t55gunner. Standard.

Ok, on a process of elimination the t55gunner action rtm anim from what I see in the config, doesnt link to any deadstate or dying anim rtm.

hmmm.. this is not good.

Checked action list and you are correct. Probably coz you dont see t55gunner inside tank when cactus. So no animation was needed.

Oh well, Sh!t happens.

I will just have to find a gunner that suits and that dies when he is suppose to.
