BoweryBaker 0 Posted September 8, 2004 one of the tricks is: if its not a music track the frequency has to be set to something like 22050 instead of 44100. Also the sound of ambient noises has to be mono and not stereo. Only music can be stereo. That may have been the problem. I hope you got a good sound editor that can sort that out for you, Goldwave does it for me. Edit: Now then for those who didn't read the last part: Plz go to www.ofpec.com, go to the editing section, look under scripts or tutorials, i don't know where they filed it, but i sent in some tutorials and scripts under the name of my friend who wrote them, one is by master miko, the other by anonomys. This was going to be the center piece of awe in my african campaign. See in it you got this radio man and papa bear is talking to you through the radio man. If any of ya'll know how to make it so anyone who has the radio is radio man plz send the script into ofpec so we can all make good missions, don't hog the script to yourself like some mission editors do. I was kind enough to share so I hope the rest of you do as well. No sense in not sharing. Anyhow, yeah, with ambient noises you can have radio men in your mission, you can have in game radio objects playing disco/arab/ethnic/foreign music or whatever you want to make things more realistic, you can have all kinds of things to make the mission seem like you're really there. Music and ambient noise can both be stereo. The bitrate may be different though, I'm not sure.
