when our local IKEA opened they set up beds for the peeps to sleep in 2 days before it opened   needless to say, ive never been there...but thats just because i got no money for that sort of stuff right now.

I cant help thinking about that excellent movie, Fight Club, that starts with Edward Norton *inside* his trusty IKEA catalog

Thankfully, i'm old enough not to get dragged to Ikea anymore. It's been a few years since i went, but i rememember there Swedish Meatballs + source is good.

ah well, afaik every thing in this house is from ikea, its cheap, and the quality is good

The furniture from IKEA is quite good, cheap, attractive and lasts quite a while.... The only thing you shouldn't buy at IKEA are table lights and some other electrical trinkets. The few electrical items we have in this household have completly new cords and connections instead of the old ones. Most of the IKEA stuff gets unreasonably hot!

And not to mention the lethal table light my mate has at his house

EDIT: Also, beware of the kitchen mittens! Another mate of mine bought a pair of them at IKEA which caught on fire, ruining his newly remodeled kitchen, IKEA did offer him a new pair though
