Pappy Boyington 0 Posted August 31, 2004 Calm down folks, nothing new here. Just fufilling a request that has been mentioned many many times. Making the WWIIEC Corsair pilots standalone for use with other WWII planes such as scuds P-38, Hawker Typhoon, and AIA's Spitfire and P-51. Tested and the pilots still work with the exsisting planes, the P38 ect ect. it does NOT provide any known/seen conflicts with the F4U corsair being in there at the same time. It has NOT been tested in MP, but i assume that as long as the server/host doesnt use an F4U corsair, but just a plane that uses its pilot. all should be well. Minor Changes: *USN and USMC pilots armed with the EC_M1911 as the orginal pistols were very early alpha and just were bloody ugly (no offense to anyone). *And the British pilot has a BIS revovler. *Oh and "goggles" option removed as it doesnt work on 2 of them. If the pilot pack is placed along side the corsair pack the pilots are 'combined' where as the goggles option appers but they have the new weapon loadout. Bugs: only known bug is the USN pilot has no custom dammage textures. he didnt before and he doesnt now. Download Here(Mirror 1) Download Here(Mirror 2) Pilot and Handgun included. Size = 2.43MB Enjoy. Edit: if you prefer to keep the F4U Corsair as an avtice addon, then you dont need this this is for the people that just want the pilots. Thanx for finally doing this, I know Fab was also working on a pilot pack and so am I. Still have a Luftwaffe pilot and soon Jap pilots that can be included,but months away still. Still have a Luftwaffe pilot and soon Jap pilots that can be included,but months away still. becuz the point of this was to be able to use the spitfire, typhoon, p38 ect ect without NEEDING the corsair, or forcing the athor to edit thier addons.
