Madus_Maximus 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Hi, over at Tales of War we’ve been trying to organise our team after a long period of inactivity (currently we have about four people actually doing something!). As most of the team has not been in contact with us for quite some time, we’ve decided to open up the flood gates and hire new staff. It’s going to be in many ways a completely new team. This is where you lot come in, if you fit into any of these categories below, and wish to help us then please email us with some screenshots of your work and contact details (MSN, Yahoo, AIM etc) to any of the email addresses listed at the bottom of this post, and we will get back to you. Please be willing to put as much time and effort as you can into the jobs we assign as our plans for future releases are quite ambitious, and we need a well balanced, good working team who complement each others skills and to keep things moving along as smoothly as possible. We’re looking for people with the following skills: 4 3D Modellers for weapons, vehicles, objects, infantry, buildings and so on 6 Texture artists for the same as above, be able to apply textures in O2 also 3 Scripters and Config writers 3 O2 operators, need good knowledge of O2 and setting of LOD’s, GEO’s, fixing of models and so on 2 Terrain editors, good island makers skilled in WRPTool, Visitor and so on (only need to be good at one) 2 Animators for creating moving animations for use with our infantry and cargo positions and so on 2 Sound editors who can create high quality sounds for weapons, vehicles, ambient environment sounds etc Well that’s it for now, if you’re able to do any of these jobs then please email us and we’ll take it from there. Sadly the Choctaw update has been delayed, but not all is lost! This means you still have a chance to submit bugs and ideas for the final version. You can do this on our forums. Anyway thanks for reading this, we felt we owed the community at least some news regarding the teams position. We’re undergoing massive reorganisation, and if all goes well we’ll have an almost brand new team working on things very soon. Those all important email address. The stupid MSN junk filter decided to put some of them in the auto delete folder and I only managed to save one from SgtEversman! Can you please PM me instead? JCA (joint command acadamy) gives you the chance to learn from our experianced members, you would be listed as a student on our website and missions that you have created using your new skills would have the oppertunity to be released on our website to the public.
