I`m new to this community bought the game yestarday. As the topics sais i want my ofp as goodlooking as possible. And I try to search in the forum, but no sucsess. And i dont wont to buy VBS1 coz its over price. So can you plz help me by give me some addons and the url.

if u have a good computer u should try the Dxdll by kegetys, if u whant some good soldiers u should check out the USMC pack by suchey and earl. Then for good vehicles u should try COMBAT's APC's and fishkopp's hummer pack

or just try Y2k3 it's an TC (total conversion) for OFP

it remplace all default units by new ones (explosion too ect...)

Or as an alternative to Y2k3 you could use EECP instead. Similar, but it ups the realism as well as making the game look better.

First of all one should maybe explain to him what options there are to improve the game appearance.

A: Skies

B: water

C: Effects & sounds

D: maps

E: units

A: skies, there you should check out for skies created by Hisky

B: Kegitys (name spelled wrong) created water effects simmillar to those of FarCry

C: Finish Defense Forces is a compact upgrade to the game that you can download freely. It comes with a variety of new addons and new effects that are tons better than the original OFP effects

D: maps, well there you have a free choice, but what is the use of a map if it doesnt come with any missions. I suggest you get some winter maps first cause they are awesome.

E: units? Again, there you have free choice. The best units I know are made by BAS but there are so many addons out there.. I guess more than for any other game I know. But again, what the best thing is to download all-inclusive Mods that come with maps, units and missions.

try y2K3.. replace EVERY F*CKING thing. its damn awesome.. but req a pretty good computer

I'm playing with the ECP mod since it's released.

I've never Downloaded Y2K3 because I only got modem

but next Month I will get DSL and then I will Download

Y2K3, FDF 1.3, and some other stuff.

The Dll hook (DXDLL) by Kegetys is very nice I mostly like the Postprocessing effects.
