Winter custom Configuration

Hi all.

I finally managed to customize the configuration bin to my likeness, I'm nearly there.

I'm not aiming at a public release cos there is a few allready out much better than mine, I'm only changing models and skins plus adding to the mod folder the latest pack for the new Sky, moon and stars, water, and NVG released by Llauma and some others.

However, I was in the toliet in my afternoon glory( LOL) when I thought about making one for winter.

Its plenty of winter addons in there to play the first campaign and Red Hammer, no for Resistance campaign because there isnt a winter Nogova released, AFAIK

Anyway. My problem its that I don't know how to replace the terrains so they only are in winter version throught the one mod folder I want it to be( I don't want to mess about with the main OFP files.

Any light to this, any sugestions would be appreciated, and yes, I had searched, but maybe I typed the wrong context for a succesfull search.

If, after I finished somebody is interested and want to enhance it with things like ECP or explomod or whatever, feel free to do so, like I say, this is going to be for personal use, but if I see that its good enought I will release it if somebody is interested.

Again, if somebody can advice me about the way to change the terrains please PM me.

Cool, I'll screw around with this for my much wanted Desert pack. (For personnal use, of course)

I thought about the dessert pack aswell, but I don't think I will because playing the campaigns will be very different, they won't work nicelly. But it can be done easy.

I like to play the campaigns with different mod folders, ussing addons, and to be honest with you, this is allmost new for me cos of just being able to worck out the stuff to change in the configuration.

So right now I'm making two different modifications, my own personal modern one, and the winter one, but the winter one its just on selection stage, meaning that I'm searching for the right addons. Its many out there, but some of them would not go with others because of quality or era.

One other thing that I just thought, the use of Kegetys winter units from his winter nogojev, I wanted to use the HYK modern US soldiers pack, I'm sure I have seen that in winter version. If I find them I'll use them, but then comes the question, what about the russians? I don't want to use UCE's because they wouldn't go with HYK US infantry. Any ideas?

I'm gonna have a good look in OFP info, see what they have in there.
