It has a speaker system inside it, so you can listen to your music and not to mention a microphone so you can communicate with your team mates through your helmet. Sorry to hijack: Stargate: Atlantis season ender has (spoiler) Marines coming to the resuce having what looks like the MICH (black) on and the digital MARPAT (I hope it was that because they were the Marines and not the Army). Also, they some were wearing Interceptor Outer Tactical Vest (it looked like it... goin protector was a dead give away) and it was black.
