A nod to the ofp modders

Recommended Posts

I've been gaming since my commadore 64 was

"the" computer to have. of course a few things

have changed since then lol...

I've been apart of countless gaming communites.

I just wanted to say thank you to the modders

out there for keeping this game alive for so long.

I've seen modders quit becasue of

negitive comments (in many games), including

OFP. I've also seen game mag's praise modders

for there time and efforts, which does not

happen enough IMHO

I think we overlook the skills of these modders some times.

We are sometimes to quick to say "this add-on is useless"

or worse....

I just wanted to say thanks for giving me so many

great add-ons, free of charge, for so long.

From the small guys to BAS and everyone in between,

THANK YOU for your time and talents...

(ya I know this post may seem a bit pointless to some)

But it's just something I wanted to say tounge_o.gif

Sure thing this is worth subscribing; without the modders, this game would already have been, CobraComm quote: "deader than disco!", end quote!

Kudos to y'all!

Really, when I saw that VBS1 video and saw that most of the stuff already had been made by these brave addonmakers and scripters, I felt BIS had been REALLY put to shame, to some degree...

Don't forget about the people that wrote some tutorials and such and didn't actually complete many addons.

I wasted(spent) alot of time helping others and it takes from addon making time.

But people like Brsseb and Zwader,Col Klink (also made several addons)

But alot of people in these forums help others rather than make addons. And thanks to them all.

And yes. a thank you from me too. If it wasn't for the forums, and the OFP community support over the past year or two, I don't think I would be as far into model making as I am.

To those who have beta tested and given positive feedback, thank you as well.

without bas, sigma, hyk, csla, ect ect Y2K3 would never of happend.

without col klink here our cutter would be another boat that u cant walk on. or the herc still laggy as feck.

and without the community. . . there wouldnt be any reason for our work.

so thank yourselves as well for downloading our stuff and giving us the positive feedback that kept us goin, if nothin else, made us feel better about what we do smile_o.gif
