MiG2003 0 Posted April 1, 2004 Just create your alpha channel using colour range selection in Photoshop and no transparent border ;)

Crowley 0 Posted May 4, 2004 This wont be a problem with the image itself, at least not the tga file. Check out the "4 alpha channels" thread in this section, it seems to be the exact same problem.
drow 0 Posted May 5, 2004 dudes, you need to get the new "targa plug-in" thing for photoshop 7, to overwrite the corrupted ass one that comes with it... then its very easy. PS nice bushes man good luck
hardrock 1 Posted May 5, 2004 I think not that that is the problem, drow... The problem is that you have different shades in your alpha channel. That means, there isn't only black and white, but also different shades of grey. Behind these half-tranparent parts of the texture other textures with alpha channel will hide. If you look at BIS' orignal textures for plants, you will notice that they also only used plain black and white in their alpha channels. Try to reduce your alpha on these two colours, then your problem should be solved
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted May 5, 2004 Try selecting all of the faces on one side and goto faces and either "move to top" or "move to bottom depending on what side it is on.Thats how I work with alphas.Works on other thins aswell.
