Â Basically a tactical thermo-nuclear rifle grenade. It was tested successfully, but wasn't really ever produced in large numbers, IIRC. Heh, actually I'm full of crap! blackdog~ 0 Posted June 9, 2004 It was a prototype of course. There was one for the M151 series as well. Photos credit to Yasuo Otsuka's book "FAREWELL M151 MUTT". When carrying heavy weaponry such as nuclear bomb launchers or more practically TOW missile systems, the rear leaf springs on the vehicle were strengthened and more added. They handle much differently than the normal jeep variant even without the weapons system. Even then there was a carrier vehicle that carried most of the ammunition for the weapons vehicle. The above system(s) are actually somewhat practicable compared to something silly like mounting big racks of rocket launchers on WWII jeeps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
