DrDestruction 0 Posted February 10, 2004 Hey, I'm working on a pack of WWI Australian infantry for the Over the Top mod. Unfortunately, they have no texturer. So I was wondering if anyone on these forums with texturing ablilities would help me out. I'll post screenshots once they get some textures on them.
Master_Chief 0 Posted February 10, 2004 congradulations to the Over the Top mod for being the 1,000,000th ofp mod team to start a mod without a texturer. Seriously everyone and thier mothers are looking for texturers. Textures are like the main part of any mod, so maybe people should get a texturer before the start thier mods. Edge 2 Posted February 10, 2004 Not to mention that learning of texture making is much faster and easier than e.g. learning to do good models in Oxygen...

stgn 39 Posted February 10, 2004 Not to mention that learning of texture making is much faster and easier than e.g. learning to do good models in Oxygen... I unestly don't think so if the texture should look good. And if there should be textures for every modeller then there would never be made enything. ozanzac 0 Posted February 10, 2004 Have you guys got a link to the website, because I swear that once, I came across it, and low and behold, there was a fella also by the name of 'ozanzac' in it. He was the leader of it. But it wasn't me, so I found it very amusing. Actually, I've found it http://www.angelfire.com/dc2/overthetop0/ and I was mistaken, the leaders name wasn't ozanzac, it was anzac.
BraTTy 0 Posted February 10, 2004 I know Anzac, he is active at the WW2EC forums and is doing that WW1 mod. Depends on what you are making for what textures you need.Making textures IMO is the hardest part. But thats making them ,show me a rifle that has made textures on them rather than pictures from a real rifle?

Pathy 0 Posted February 10, 2004 Agree with Ronin, go back to ofp.info comment boards if you cant be polite..... The point is true, but the way your expressing it is plain rude

Gulp, I actually haven't asides screenshots, and they are nice and knowing they made the textures themselves make them even nicer than I thought originally. Pathy 0 Posted February 10, 2004 Texturing is definately the hardest skill in making an addon, scripting aside (CoC level of scripting that is). When i say i can texture i can do basic things like make an optic or put together a gun texture from photos, but, drawing my own from scratch would give me nightmares In all honesty, your going to struggle to find a texturer for your mod.
