TheMarshal=TOB= 0 Posted January 27, 2004 Anyway...it's still a little to big...not by much though. According to fas.org, the overall length should be 249.9m, which is precisely what I scaled it to: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/lha-1.htm length isn't what I'm talking about...it's to high....it needs to be shorter so to speak. Matthijs 40 Posted January 27, 2004 Never thought to check general scaling; Spad must have worked purely from photos. Height is probably to cock as well then.I'll have a closer look. OFP scaling is not always right. The M113 is way too big. If you put the M113 next to the M1, it's obvious. Just scale your model using the O2 sizes. Don't scale it according to other models, as these can be wrong. O2 is always right.
Stag 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I did. I know the length was right, assuming one square = 1 metre. I set up a background image matching the length, then adjusted the height to correspond. Knowing the beam was 106 ft made scaling that dimension easy enough.
