Heatseeker 0 Posted January 23, 2004 One problem, without the uav's my only option was to drive NE and search for the scud but i get mission failure and the mission calls me Disobediant , will have to start over. bn880 5 Posted January 24, 2004 Finally had time to play this mission, it is quite good IMO. The kind of mision I prefer to play, you have to be somewhat flexible. I did pass it with limited losses on the first try... I don't want to give stuff away, but it does have a good feel to it. The recon tool is great except it has problems turning R. And it won't be too good in MP me thinks. (you should see how it feels with ECP-DR and a new ammo burning feature I added freaks the hell out of you) I like the single use AT weapons, however I wish they would kind of disappear after dropped on ground when useless, the AI keeps picking the crap up. Anyway, my style of mission but even better when it's COOP. The OFrP showcase is pretty well done, except the vehicles should open fire on stuff. Good job. I remember playing with the DragonWarrior in heavy MP, and it had problems by always jumping/warping around, always moving like it had the shakes. Also I think there was a problem with shutting it down and starting again, that is probably fixed in this new UAV. I will check it sometime... not sure when. Oh yeah, and I opted for not using Dragon UAV a while back because the enemy would not shoot it. This I see you changed lol @ ball of shit, it's a pretty good mission, especially to check out some of the vehicles and UAV Pilot in water was cool, I was driving around in one of the AFV's and my gunner yelled abouta vehicle, I freaked out a bit, jumped out and took the binocs out... couldn't see anything lol... after moving along the coast to the N some more I finally saw the weird thing in the water, and I remembered the picture you posted here. You know it took me about 40 minutes of searching with UAV to find the scud, I didn't cheat at all since i didn't read the posts here first... more fun. (lost 1 uav to BMP, PS: my favourite Mp coop is _basically_ the same as your misison, involves searching out 2 artillery sites and a scud, then calling artillery. that's where i tried the old UAV, but it was not so hot.
