Automatic satchel detonation

I've searched for this and found all sorts but none of the answers work. The two solutions people keep posting is A) place the satchel charge, name it, and have a trigger "setdammage 1". And B) name it and "bomb action ["touchoff"] The problem is that those solutions don't work.

What I'm trying to do is have a carbomb script. When a particular unit gets into a particular jeep, a satchel charge is created and placed at the position of the vehicle and detonated automatically. Of course I could always use a "bomb" or "heat125" but I don't want it to sound like a tank shot me and I don't want it to sound like I also killed a glass/steel building along with the jeep. I just want it to explode and not add the extra destruction sounds. A satchel charge does that. But I can't seem to set it off at the right moment. Can anyone help?

Condition:

man1 in car1

Activation:

bomb="shell73" camcreate getpos car1; car1 setdammage 1

That'll work when man1 gets in car1 smile_o.gif

What's a shell73? Sounds like a bmp heat round or something.

A satchel may not be ideal for this situation, I've blown jeeps halfway across the island (literally!) with a well placed satchel...

A handgrenade and a setdamage may be more suitable.

you can try placing the chatchelcharge into the jeeps cargo?

jeep1 addMagazineCargo "PipeBomb"

and a trigger

jeep1 setDammage 1

rock.gif

when I want things to blow up I place shells into as magazines

truck1 addMagazine "shell120"

but I do not know if this is possible with pipebombs.

You wanna see a car blow half way accross the island, try doing a carbomb type of script with a "laserguidedbomb". They blast about a half mile in the air and about a mile and a half forward! biggrin_o.gif It's loads of fun!
