EiZei 0 Posted December 9, 2003 I had the same feeling when watching Rambo III and Red dawn. But seriously, they are comparing the Gulf War II to the horrors of normandy?..

theavonlady 2 Posted December 9, 2003 I had the same feeling when watching Rambo III and Red dawn. I don't have the problem of confusing reality with Hollywood B (make that C) movies. Quote[/b] ]But seriously, they are comparing the Gulf War II to the horrors of normandy?.. In a way yes. They're not measuring whether there was a 90% risk versus a 2% risk in one situation or another. They're comparing the dedication and determination of US troops that accomplish the tasks given to them at great risk to their lives.
theavonlady 2 Posted December 9, 2003 @ Dec. 09 2003,20:42)]Bunch of crap. From past posts of yours, this is predictable.
Jamesia 0 Posted December 9, 2003 I think normandy was a teensy bit more of a challenge than gulf war II. The amasing thing about Normandy was that you had ordinary people, not soldiers fighting for their countries interests and for the interests of people all over the world. Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted December 9, 2003 And I promised myself not to cry... Blah, I don't give much for this kind of US-propaganda stuff, I find it rather enoying to watch... Yes, it nearly looks as if the US army is nothing else than a mix-breed of doctors without borders, human right's watch, Greenpeace and Unesco . Why are they wearing uniforms? Camouflage doesnt help much if they holy holy shiny glimmer silouette can be seen from far away.

Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted December 9, 2003 </span> Quote[/b] ]OFFTOPIC(about military, politics, science, other military games and similiar topics loosely related to the game) <span =''>I don't see how propaganda fits in with that. This thread has no apparent purpose, other than showing everyone some propaganda with only very loose links to military. Add to that that the thread has mostly gone off-topic. Add to that that the clip violates the forum rules regarding the showing of mutilation. There can only be one decision therefore, and that is:
