Schoeler 0 Posted November 11, 2003 1. Is there a way to change the scale of a model created in oxygen for making new lods? Can I just select all my vetices and faces and rescale them? 2. Can you assign multiple textures to a face? Right now for example, I am making a building with a floor. Outside the building I want the floor to be concrete, inside tile. So far, if I assign a concrete texture to part of the floor, Oxygen simply tiles the texture across the entire floor. As a solution, I created a plane and scaled it to the size of the part of the floor I want to be tile and then overlaid it onto the existing floor, but like .001 of a meter higher in the y plane. Is there another way of going about this that requires less vertices and faces?
Fab. 0 Posted November 11, 2003 1. select all the things you want to be rescaled, then click "point/transfrom 3d/scale..." or press the "scale in 2d" button. 2. I dont think that's possible... you must use one face per texture...
Footmunch 0 Posted November 12, 2003 Or hold down ctrl+shift+RMB and move the mouse up and down (IIRC). Schoeler - You could define a single tex file that has concrete around the edge, and tile in the middle, but the tex file you create will probably be so big (in file size) that you might as well spend one more poly instead.
