PMC Command OFP Campaign

PMC Command Campaign - 30 missions of CoC Command Engine put in a campaign form. This baby uses BAS Delta/Rangers, BAS Littlebirds, BAS MH-47E Chinook and U.S.S. Ashland LSD 48 addons along with default BIS troops and vehicles.

nice campaign, but i don't check out the command engine! but i made through the tutorial missions

Yes I just started playing it yesturday, it is very hard but I am having great fun playing it.

I have Save Game -problem in this campaign.

Sometimes, when i try to load saved game, game crashes and this message appears;

Cannot load` Users\Miheikki\Saved\Campaign\pmc_command_campaign\continue.fps`.Error`No entry` at`\GameState\Variables\item8\data.value`

I have tried to save it only ->ESC->Abort, but game crashes.

I also have this problem in unsciptedwar-mission (Using Command Engine too).

This it the savegame bug, you have to play the mission all the way through when you start it.

Yep the savegame bug BIS know about it. There have been various different causes some have been resolved in past patches so make sure your patched up to the latest official patch (currently 1.91)

Increasing your swap file size

Upgrading to 1.94 beta may help but remember it is beta.

According to Suma

- wait for the next patch

So the final patch from BIS may well solve the problem.

We believe from our research at the CoC that it is not a Command Engine or CoC UA caused problem (other than we are stretching OFP to its limit).

In the end we need to consider the mission sizes involved in both unsciptedwar-mission and in PMC Command Campaign as Command Engine missions are right at the limits of OFP as is the CoC UA used in the PMC Command Campaign.

The avowed intention of of The Chain of Command stated in our mission statement is :

Quote[/b] ]To Develop a dynamic and realistic battlefield for platoon/company/battalion-sized conflicts within Operation Flashpoint by advancing the Operation Flashpoint game engine to its max.

When you develop cutting edge products at the engines max we expect a few casualties. I can confirm many bleeding edge incidents in the CoC labs and if one or two CoC developers walk around on a wooden leg or look at you through the odd glass eye; that is only to be expected.

All in all it is these kind of projects that find bugs in a game engine and lead to the many patches that fix them. If you were to look through the Bug reports at BIS you would find many discovered, described and defined by members of the CoC and as a result the game has got better.

As has been said there is a fix that is to play the mission through right from the start to the finnish.

Here is hopping the next patch from BIS will solve it.

Save Game -problem is not so big in this campaign, because average mission lasts about 1 h 20 min.
