shinRaiden 0 Posted September 18, 2003 I somehow managed to get ofp into a weird state, anyone seen this? If I run 'res -nosplash', then go into the mapeditor, (open or create - doesn't matter which) and preview a mission, Num-pad Enter does not have any effect (should be outside view) and Num-pad (.) does not switch to tactical view. When I've 'locked' OFP like this, I have to exit and restart OFP. If I go into any pbo'd mission, single or multi FIRST, n.p. Enter and n.p. (.) work just fine, and THEN work fine in Map editor sessions. Any ideas on how to extricate the bad karma from my install? Thanks. You may either check them and fix them from ingame options (press Default in the control configuration screen), or you can delete Userinfo.cfg in your OFP user folder folder. Lupus-WD- 0 Posted September 18, 2003 @shinRaiden: I have the exact same "problem" Actually, the editor is stuck in vet mode each time i launch OFP RES as long as i havent played a sp or mp mission in cadet mode in the same session. i finally decided to allow 3rd person view in vet mode (difficulty settings) even if i never use it when actually playing but at least i have it when editing/previewing (in vet mode)
