And we have been working on 1.6 of our weapon pack

I've looked over your site which is quite nice but i cant exactly figure out what your mod is about or what it aims to do? Could you enlighten me?

I sure can this mod is based on the KoreanWar in which we plan to release 4 campaigns at this moment in time might go into more detail we are trying to create or recreate to better put it all most to the detail of the actual event. We plan to have every army that was involved from koreans to the Russains and even the austrialians. We hope to recreate the weapons used to the bets of our teams ablity although we are short of members at this time. Right guys i some news the weapon should be ready by at the lastest, hopefully, by the middle of next week. But we are aiming for this weekend.

I'mm interested to see what other weapons/vehicles/air_units that your mod is hoping to make.

A Mig-17 has been built by Footmunch. Pretty much a twin engined Mig-15.

P-51 mustangs have been built, and they were used in the conflict.

Martin made a Bell-47 chopper. I.E., the MASH medivac choppers, just to name a few.

we have all those sites used and we even have a teacher who speicalises in the war ozanzac. And did you know the austrialians used P-51. The thing is we want to build our own stuff. We also have i think 5 version of the sherman tank in the pipe lines as we have a guy who resotres these old tanks

Yes, I did know the RAAF used P-51's in the conflict. My grandfather was a pilot in the second world war and his old unit was in Korea.

Glad to see a historically correct attitude in the mod. As I said, good luck to you. If I was any use to your mod I would gladly join, but I'm still learning the ropes about addon making. Mayby one day I'll be good enough to make quality units, and then I'd volunteer my services, but until then, there would be no point.

Were are looking for Addon makers and Texturers for our mod and hope Some of uses would be able to lend us a hand if you cannot fully commit to the mod as certain members really cant do 20 addons on there own and get them perfect.

A MiG-17 has a single afterburning engine. The plane your thinking off is the MiG-19 which is basically a twin engined MiG-17. The MiG-17 differs from the MiG-15 By a more swept back wing (makes it faster and less prone to buffeting in transsonic flight) and an afterburning engine. I believe the fuselage was also extended but i am not to certain about that.

Never the less the plane was used in the korean war along with the corsair and P-51 i think there was others need more research.

Maybe its a good idea to cooperate with some other addon makers. There are some pretty good T-28's out there for instance. It would speed things up if you could get permission to use those instead of having to make it yourself. Just an idea

We will build our own addons. Asking others to borrow there addons like tanks and planes is not the way of a mod

We will do fine, and plus, my mod is about quality in the addons, supreme quality.........................thats my number 1 rule in the mod that I made.

As for the T-26..................hmmmmm, if thats a tank, I do not think it was used in this war. As for the Mig-15 and corsairs and stuff, we will build only the basic planes; Sabre's, mustangs, Crossairs, Mig-15.............C-47, maybe one or two more, and then the helo of this war too.

But mark my words we will be mostly making our own stuff from now on, its the right and most professional thing to do

Your gonna make all that? I was thinking that someone was finally making a Korean mod partially because there are already some units out (Korean Era Corsair comes to mind)

Its your choice of course, but I would like to see something we don't already have and not that yours wouldn't be nicer but I have many,many hours into the Corsair and Trenchfeet made an outstanding P51 and we sure would like help making the rest of the planes we don't have.I try to make something that someone isn't/hasn't which also delayed me making the Corsair even as I assumed someone must be making one.

But I would be excited about Korean units,maps missions and pieces of equiptment and other vehicles from the era

And my Pacific mod plans on using others stuff and I help them

Well actually was more along the lines that your welcome to use the Corsair for your mod,as my mod will be using aircraft carriers and units from other people and mods and I help them get them done.And I am sure Trenchfeet would like to see his P51 get put to use along with Footmunch and his planes and jets,he/we may even improvise things that may be needed for your mod.

I only could help your mod with maybe some config work and small scripting,I don't have time for any other, and there is so much more I would like to do.

I am not looking to join other mods (Altho I'd like to help some modern era stuff  ie:high tech)

I am so busy tinkering with my own stuff and helping friends,and busy with realife

Edit: And along the lines of the Corsair project...I said I have many,many hours into it, well I do and so do some other people ,SubFaction did the major job of texturing which is what made it outstanding ,along with the help from Vibes (a great addon maker!) spent alot of time with pilots and help with some things,and people like ~too~tall drove it like mad and did crazy things and help major with ideas for the addon and now the addon is in final beta and has been out a bit and tested by more people and is in finalizing stages.Just that a project that deep is hard to beat,and thats just the Corsair project, the other plane makers are in the same situation.

I'm just saying that a majority of addons are made by a team of people.And I wanted to make sure the people that helped me ,get proper credit because I only said that I have many hours into it.

As I said, I'd help but with my current skills, I'd be more of a hinderance. I'm still learning more about addon making day by day, and wish to learn at my own pace before making any commitments.

By the Way. I hope the mod co-operates with others and not competes with other mods. What I think Bratty was trying to say was he's willing to let you toy with his addon to any extent, so long as the correct acknowledgements are made. Most addon makers are like this, and I am suprised to see that you've been turned down or shrugged off by other makers.

I'll contact you when my skills come togeather, but at the moment, thats a few months away.

Well I dont like the idea of tinkering with other peoples models as others dont seem to like it plus the corsiar although has some bugs such as wheel not being on the ground in MP games untill you raise them then put them down again. We would not like to reck a good model. I know vibes did a sherman but we dont want to use it. We got our own expert on that and he should be able to make them well he has a couple of them in garage.
