Matthijs 40 Posted September 4, 2003 I noticed when you get into vechicles...your goggle frames are showing in front of your face..only way to get rid of it is to take helmut off then get into the vechicle again...anyone else seeing this?? This can only be solved by making the helmet non-removable. It's simply a property of the OFP engine. The technical explanation: When you get into a vehicle, your 1st person view switches from 1st person LOD of your soldier, to the cargo or pilot LOD of the vehicle. In this vehicle, there just happens to be a model of your soldier, and your camera-standpoint just happens to be IN his head. The engine then makes the head of your soldier invisible, and voila, you are in the vehicle, with body and all. Exept that your body is now a normal model instead of the 1st person LOD. Now you say: "Yes, soooo...???" Because settexture is used to make the helmet visible, the engine can't make it invisible to you, when in the vehicle. The only reason you don't see a helmet, is because the creator of the addon didn't texture the inside of the helmet. Also, the straps of the helmet are textured only on the outside, otherwise they would also be visible. You can check this by getting really close to a soldier wearing the removable helmet. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....atthijs
