Request: A mapping "mission restart" to a controller key.

Recommended Posts

I am crashing a lot in my street racing training...

this is what I am practising :

So every time I crash I have to restart the mission.  reach out, grab mouse, do the thing... over and over.

IF i could have the "restart mission" thing mapped to my joystick. WOW !!!!

Yesterday I was trying a Heli Limbo that was very hard and ... over and over and over...

Help ?!

Thank you!

George.

@George_Smiley use some macro program between joystick and keyboard like keybinder or  joytokey, just bind a joystick button to the space bar key, when you die press the button you have chosen and you will restart the mission.
Or you can do something more complex and map all the mouse, movement and keys to the joystick with this little program
https://sourceforge.net/projects/vjoystick/

  • Thanks 1

Well hecking darn! IT WORKS !  I used JOYTOKEY  and like all good software it installs no fuss and works as it says on the box.

So I have a button on my stick mapped to the space bar and when I crash BOOM and die in the firye exploding heli crash I blip thatt button and BAM I am back in action.

It's sick !  ( that is soooo nineties. .... )

AutoHotkey may be of use for this type of thing as well.
