MoodyB 0 Posted August 3, 2003 Hey all, Since the current ATi drivers ( even the ones by Omega and DNA ) cant seem to impliment the brightness / contrast settings ingame properly, download Rage3D Tweak if you dont have it already http://www.rage3d.com/r3dtweak/ It lets you tweak theses ingame ( any game ) by the use of hotkeys. Also makes OFP look nicer, less washed out when you add more contrast / less brightness... GeForce card users can use RivaTuner for the same tweaks... GoOB 0 Posted August 4, 2003 Might just be my stupidity. But I cant't get the game utility to work
MoodyB 0 Posted August 4, 2003 You cant change the brigtness / contrast in-game ? If so, turn on 'desktop hotkey support ' , then it will work. You'll only need this until the Catalyst v3.7 drivers are released though, as it apparently has per game prefs built into its driver control panel......lets hope its bug free
lee_h._oswald 0 Posted August 6, 2003 How does a Radeon 9500Pro 128MB run OFP comparing to a NVidia GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB? Better? Same? Bullsh*t? Anyone here who has such a radeon and a cpu ~AMD 2600+? Are there problems running ofp with an ATI card? (textures or something) MfG Lee

Waterman 0 Posted September 6, 2003 I think its sorta silly removing a good graphics card just for 1 game. Although I do feel like doing that myself sometimes...
Laitex 0 Posted September 7, 2003 I guess Radeon gives vivid graphics , but not sure about latest card.
theavonlady 2 Posted September 7, 2003 Are there problems running ofp with an ATI card? (textures or something) For all my watching these forums over the last few years, I would say that ATI gripes outnumber Nvidia gripes 10 or 15 to 1. Check this thread as an example. For more thorough research, search all the subforum's topic (not message) texts for "radeon" and "graphics" since the start of the year.
