Set up a folder in your Flashpoint Directory, call it what you like ( for e.g : BAS ), in that folder, put another folder called "Addons".

Put your Addons in the "Addons" folder. ( any addons can go in here, but if you download an island its "Anim" folder has to go in the normal OFP/Addons folder )

Now make a copy of the shortcut you use to launch OFP, Right-click it and select Properties, in the "Target" field add this :

-mod=BAS

so it looks like :

"C:\Program Files\Operation Flashpoint\Flashpoint.exe" -mod=BAS

( remember to use the " )

And use that shortcut to launch OFP with your Addons.

You can set up as many mod folders as you like.

To launch with Multiple Mod folders, just add them to the shortcut like so :

"C:\Program Files\Operation Flashpoint\Flashpoint.exe" -mod=BAS;RUSSIANS;AIRPLANES

etc

And if you do a quick search in the General Board, you'll find Kegetys kick-ass OFP Launcher v.2 which has wicked Mod folders support, and lets you pick which Mods you want to launch OFP with just by ticking them on and off in a menu ( great idea Keg ;) )

Enjoy.

If you follow Avon Lady's directions properly it should work fine.  However, you MUST remove all unofficial addons out of your regular OFP and Res addons directories because no matter what mod you use, the original addons will still be loaded up by OFP.   When I first tried it I also thought it didn't work for me until I tried removing the unofficial addons from my Res/Addons folder.   If it's something else not causing it to work (like if when you run the mod you don't see ANY of the addons in that mod folder) then make sure you are doing all the steps appropriately.   Also in the mod folder ONLY put a Addons folder in it.   Don't try doing what I did at first and sticking Bin folders and stuff like that in there.

All it needs is a mod folder (called for example WWIIMod). Then withing that folder another folder called "Addons" which is where you stick all your WWII addons (for a WWII mod).

Then you simply make a link on your desktop.   What I did was copy the OFP icon on the desktop.  Then right click on it and go to "properties".   In the Target box I have this on my computer:

E:\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -nosplash -mod=Wwiimod

Truy not using any "quotation" marks (works for me) and after the .exe on your regular OFP Resistance file path,  put a space after it and then:

-nosplash -mod=Wwiimod

For every different mod folder just cut and paste the desktop shortcut just change Wwiimod to whatever the name of the new mod folder is.

But really the key thing is to have your official Res/Addons folder (and if you have one your regular OFP addons folder) free of all or most unofficial addons unless there are some that ALL your mods share.    Otherwise it defeats the purpose of having mod folders and you'll still get memory map errors.  However with mod folders you can not only better organize your addons but also it helps you keep track of what addons you used for making certain missions and you can use alot more addons without getting memory-map errors.

Oh... and if I'm not mistaken I believe this only works with OFP Resistance.  Make sure you have it updated to the latest version.

I hope that helped.
