I put the C:program files/ blah blah blah <<< or a msn Site that is used.. Like when you click "post this on the internet" on a file (in windows XP)

I dont know a free based thing that would allow me to put addons, missions, images, for people 2 see.

If you put a local address(like C:\...) it won't work. If you have highspeed internet you probably have a little bit of hosting that they provide you with.

What edc said is right... usually if you have broadband or cable you get free webspace from your ISP. Go to their support page to find out how to use it...

Yes I do have webspace and i have a link up, but I get errors on the page and cannot post the images on the forums, i have to give the link and people have to click on it.

EXAMPLE:

http://www.geocities.com/coldkilla9/Funnys.html

(I could have put a Flashpoint Pic on there to keep it in the mood with the flashpoint forum and to stop this topic from becoming closed so my queires can be answered.)

Heres sumthing to keep the flashpoint flow going:

http://www.geocities.com/coldkilla9/FlashpointPyx.html

Lol, thats just a Side Link off my main page, but you get the hint. I Do not know why it dosnt say Funnys.jpg/FlashpointPys.jpg at the end of the Site, maybe because i just hit NEW in the page builder?

How can I make just an IMAGE link like that of which can be posted here with geocities as the domain that i use for my website?

If you have webspace from your ISP you can direct link to it. You can't direct link to geocities.

The webspace they spoke of was the problem that everyone was experiencing earlier with msnusers and a login name.

If there was a domain i could make and only just pay once instead of monthly I would do that, but I dont recall seeing anything like that.

As you see, direct linking is also possible with Geocities.

Just go to the page where the pic is, then right click on the page (not the pic) and click "show sourcecode".

In the editor that has opened you have to find the line with the link to your pic.

Then paste it into the forums and put http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/ in front of the link.

Et voilá, it works  smile_o.gif

http://www.geocities.com/coldkilla9/FunnyFlash1.JPG <<<  FYI Not a Valid Link.

And I go into the Image tab and put this link, and nothing shows up here.

All i can see is a tiny red X. Dunno the reason.

It should work  rock.gif

Be sure to put the exactly this: "http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/"

link in front of your piclink, so it looks like this:

"http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.geocities.com/coldkilla9/FunnyFlash1.JPG" (Links w/o quotes of course, i had to set them because otherwise the iconboard changed the link´s appearance)

For me it worked and is still visible.

I hope it helps  smile_o.gif
