Lt Damage updated his nice Toyota Hilux Sport / with 12.7mm DShK Machine gun to Version 2.1

Fixes:

Attempts to fix geometry LODs (being able to walk through vehicle, shoot through vehicle, etc.)

New Features:

Repair ability added

Rearm ability added

Hilux Sport:

Spare tyre added.

Toolbox added

Snorkel Added

Ability to repair after damage added. (Stand at back near toolbox)

Personal note: It still needs fine tuning, I fixed some 'problems' with the config.cpp but that is just me. This link is the original by Lt. Damage.

Really? I have not seen you post in OF forum in over 4 months.

What did I fix/take away?

-Removed rearm ability on Hilux & Hilux Sport (when destroyed, the trucks would explode with the force of a LaserGuidedBomb because of all the ammo being stored in them)

-Lowered armor on Hilux to 50 ( I think) It was taking two RPGs to kill

-Lowered armor on Hilux Sport, 150 is just too much (Made it 60)

-Removed Repair capabilities on Hilux (Kept it on Hilux Sport, its got a tool box )

-Lowered speed on Hilux to 65 and Hilux sport to 75 (They still go pretty damn fast, but 300 was just way too much)

-Replaced Hilux crew with Soldiers (I don't think snipers man vehicles normaly)

-Replaced Hilux Sport crew with... Crew (Just to make it different from the normal Hilux)

-Removed BAS weapons loadout.

-Lowered amount of Stingers and RPGs carried.

-Placed addon in "car" category (Just a personal pref, I dont like one or two vehicles having their own category)

-Tried to fix sights, but uh, don't have the proper tools (O2, Photoshop, everything)

Hmm ok, the Hilux Sport is supposed to be a 'fun' vehicle. It is not bound by reality in any way.

The normal hilux people keep whining that they want it to be a technical so i've left that relatively alone.

There are snipers in there because I like their black ski masks. That is all, we don't play with AI so its a non issue for us

The armor was adjusted while I was learning and I thought more armor would make it go through bushes better, trees were stopping it dead. I forgot to change it down when I learned different.

Now the speed of the HiluxMG i don't care about but I've always wanted the Hilux Sport to be fast and powerful, the reason it is 300 is because OFP's engine is limited, you can define speed but not overall strength of the engine. So to make it able to eat up hills like a proper V8 engine the speed is increased.

These changes are quite simple, and mostly personal preference.
