I thort that it would be a good Idear if you could make Bagpacks, Helmets, Sights (ACOG) and just release them on the internet as just p3d then if you neede a laser sight, you couldent/had no time to make it, fore you gun then you could just download it and put it on.

Then the author should ofcause add a readme where It said somthing like free to use fore the OFP community.

Well he does have a point. For example, in the end a well made m203 SHOULD look exactly like another well made m203. The fun isnt in having 40 different m203 models but in blasting the oponents with it for me It would speed things up There have been addons that used parts of others in the past, as long as the permission of the original author was asked and he was mentioned in the readme as the original author i think there is nothing wrong. You can invent the wheel thousands of times over but it would just slow things down Saying he should make his own models is maybe a bit too quick an response.

I just thort it would be a good thing for a shaing comunity

Now if you made a man whit, xampel a bonniehat and a Alice backpack I you then thort he looked nice but he dident have the ALICE Basic then you could download it and add it to him then you would have a cool man very fast and then you could play whit and be glad

it's a really nice intention, i'm sure it'll help many addon makers and help on keeping high the quality level.

yes but then nearly all model makers will go away because they are not needed and there will only be a few god model makers and it is funny that you write it because it just tell me that you are not a god model maker. no the best thing will be that some very good advanced turtorials will be maked

I only think that model parts that do not change from weapon to weapon needs to be for public to use, M203's, laser sight, optics. That kinda stuff, models need to look alike if not the whole realisme concept behind OFP fades away.
