Latest ati drivers

Recommended Posts

New drivers were released yesterday, although they add 200-400 points to a 3dmark benchmark, ofp dont work, the game loads to a green screen or garbled graphics, the drivers dated march are the best bet

Admittedly I'm in the desert but I don't see any green biggrin.gif

Radeon 7500 + Catalyst 3.4, no problems here, seems like you messed something up your end smile.gif

I've searched the two main Radeon support forums and there are no reports there, thus I will change the title of this thread to be a smidge more accurate smile.gif

Ok to update, there is a thread here on the rage3d forums reporting problems in Opf when running in high or very high lanscape, my above pic is low but I changed to high and get the following......

You can't activeted W-Buffer actually with last Catalyst driver (I'm too on Radeon9700Pro smile.gif) and with Catalyst 3.2 (not sure).

I get a wonderful "D3derr Out of video memory" Whenever I try and play Opflash with the 3.4s

It sucks, because I haven't been able to use any drivers past the 2.5 Catalysts that work.

This is was I get when i install the Catalyst 3.4 and start OFP

OFP.JPG

My Graphiccard and the CPU are not overclocked. It seems that only users with the Radeon 9xxx series get these Problems with OFP and Cat. 3.4

Yes i think its a big Problem. In a inofficial german ATI-Forum are a few user with Problems in Games (CS,QIII,OFP) so i think ATI should fix it fast as possible. I think you should test the Omegadriver form www.omegacorner.com they are often better than original ATI-driver. I tested the Omegadriver but they didnt solve the problem on my PC. But test the driver and maybe.....

Sorry for the bad English.

Edit:

I found a "Solution" i made a copy oft the O.pbo and deleted the O.pbo OFP works but without Textures etc... mad.gif

lol im running the same card a Hercules R9700PRO. Yes it seems that only users with the R9XXX series get these problems.

Does anyone know where i can download the omegadrivers based on Catalyst 3.2?? The Driverheaven.net-mirror is down.

Well, I'm back to the 2.5 Cats again. Again everything runs beautifully (no artifacting or flashing in Opflash).

I recommend them if you are having problems.

My Radeon 9700Pro and Cat 3.4 => moon landscape.

I'll try to disable w-buffer in radeonator and let you know the result.
