peanuckle_00 0 Posted May 10, 2003 A woman as president of the United States, yes or no? I say no. A woman can't serve in the military based on the requirements of war so what makes women think that they can fit the requirements to be president. I'm talking the real requirements just as in war. Not even a lesbian could be President, not without great suffering and turmoil amongst the people.
Mister 5 0 Posted May 10, 2003 My, how sexist of you . Anyways, why no poll?

peanuckle_00 0 Posted May 10, 2003 That's not sexist it's protective. Sexist is limiting a woman's ability to eat or live just because she's a woman, or the opposite sex to put it plainly. Let's say that 911 happened and a woman was President then what would happen if she had to make the decision. That's it, she wouldn't make the decision on her own. She'd be like an idol or something. People would just be giving her ideas and she'd smile and do it like she's worshipped or something. I'm not going to go into it all but, we all have the ability to vote on our own. Even if two women ran, then that year I would not vote.
CuteQA 0 Posted May 10, 2003 I vote no because there is already a bad example in Taiwan, and luckly she is just the Vice president can't imagine if she become the president
Mister 5 0 Posted May 10, 2003 Don't you have any idea of how sexist you're being!? You just said that every woman isn't fit to be in leadership roles because she "wouldn't make the decision on her own"! Sorry, but your whole argument is blatantly and offensively sexist. I don't believe you have the nerve to post something like that.
Epita 0 Posted May 10, 2003 I can't belive how sexist some people are. If you would care to look at how well margret thatcher ran the UK, you would be pleasantly surprised to find that she did very well, and did it herself. (delebritaly patronising) I sense a closing... FallenPaladin 0 Posted May 10, 2003 There are a lot of countries with women in active fighting units in the military. And I guess most of them (not all, but even some of us men are whimps ) are doing a fine job. So why shouldn`t a woman be able to be president? I think some women could do a good job here, too. There are currently a lot of male politicians and presidents who are quite terrifying. Their jobs surely can`t be made worse, so I think women would have a nice chance to do it better. A further venting of such sexist nonsense will be worth a permanant PR. Think about what you said, then replace 'woman' with an ethnic group.
